I thought to myself “well Window Wall obviously hands them out like candy”. The “Master Window Installer” as he so proudly presented his neck tag like it made him one. Window installer did nothing of the sort. Cody assured me that they use 3M safety film covering to stop the shards from entering the house. So, I asked him about protecting my interior from the glass breakage. He informed me that the old windows would probably break during install. Nice guy but full of Window Wall BULL I wanted to give the old windows to Habitat of the Humanities. I wanted some hurricane windows but budget wise could only afford the master bedroom. OMG! By the way I was a superintendent and know BS contractors. But let me tell you about my experience with Window Wall. You are welcome to use whomever to install and purchase your windows. I would like to warn those of you thinking about new windows. There has to be better options than this…. He had us “pre approved” for the PACE Program where it would only cost $241 a month - for 30 YEARS! So the price to replace our 11 windows, 3 sets of sliding glass doors and front glass doors was $40,000. Being pushy, not providing a written estimate - or even a business card, calling in to the office to come back with better pricing only good for a day, etc. The salesman from Reece employed all of the sales strategies that I hate. Keep in mind we have been dealing with an absolute nightmare of a situation with the AC since moving in - a discovery of mold throughout the ductwork, an unlicensed HVAC person impersonating someone else, then the AC unit which just turned 5 (just out of warranty) died and was being replaced while he was here. The salesman from Reece Windows arrived a couple of days later. We had a door to door salesman come asking to set an appointment. They definitely should be replaced as well as the sliding glass doors and front door. The windows in the house we purchased are Alcan single pane windows I’m sure are original to the house which was built in 1991. So, thank you Sam your product, craftsmanship and professionalism are only exceeded by your honesty.Replacement Windows? We recently moved here from NC. ![]() They will send you replacement screens for the best price." Turns out, he was correct, but he certainly didn't have to tell me that. I showed him the windows with the missing screens and he said, "You have Andersen windows. The final result: a thoroughly professional job, done in a fraction of the time, at a very fair price, particularly considering others couldn't/wouldn't do the work. It looked so good and operated so much better than my existing retractable screens, I not only installed the new screen, but rather than fix one of the torn screens, I replaced it. ![]() Sam came with sample hardware to demonstrate the look and operation of the screen. ![]() I was a bit concerned about the look for the new retractable screen. The shops were so busy they said they wouldn't fix my existing retractable screens and it would take at least 2 months before they could send someone to measure for replacement screens, plus 4 to 6 weeks after that to install the new screens.Ĭlear View Mobile Screening was at my house in two days. The mobile companies couldn't/wouldn't repair my no name retractable screens and wouldn't drive (in one case) as little as five miles to my house to give me an estimate (apparently the job wasn't big enough). I called (without exaggeration) 10 mobile screen repair companies, and went to two window and doors shops. ![]() I had 2 torn retractable screens, missing screens in some windows and wanted to add a retractable screen over French doors in the front of the house.
